Sliderocket blows PowerPoint away

Technology

I’ve never been a really big fan of Microsoft’s PowerPoint, and now I’m sure I don’t have to use it again if I don’t have to. I just discovered this Internet-enabled, collaborative presentation tool called Sliderocket .

Just watch this presentation on Scobleizer TV, and I’m sure you’ll feel the same way.

Web 2.0 and online collaboration tools are constantly evolving, and when you see the possibilities, I know we have some exciting years to look forward to.

Google Analytics, think before you act

Technology

Lots of times people use Google Analytics, just because it’s easy to implement and it looks nice with the cute dashboard and all. I know, because I see it happening all the time.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t use GA, far from it!
But people should try and think in advance about what would be the best implementation strategy so they can get as much out of Google Analytics as they possibly can, and maybe get some real information about their website and it’s visitors, instead of only looking at the obvious: “how much visitors do I get every day”.
